L'Homme Armé is an ensemble specializing in the musical repertoire of centuries XIV / XVII.
The ensemble presents itself in different formations: from the duo to the great ensemble (with soloists, chorus and orchestra).
In addition to perform in concert works of the greatest authors of Medieval age, Renaissance and Baroque, L'Homme Armé dedicates itself to the proposed works that, although of particular importance within the contemporaneous cultural and musical landscape, however, have become today of rare execution.
Recognized as one of the most important in his sector, L'Homme Armé was invited to give concerts in prominent early music festivals and has also collaborated with prestigious musical institutions.

The activity of L'Homme Armé is regularly supported by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Tuscany Region, the Province and the Municipality of Florence and the foundation Cassa di Risparmio of Florence. The chairman is Renato Baldassini.
